1. Introduction

Archied.in ("we," "our," or "us") is a SaaS platform providing Instagram Direct Message (DM) automation services. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, process, and protect your data in compliance with the Meta Platform Terms and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

2. Information We Collect

We collect data necessary to function as an Automation Service Provider ("Tech Provider") under Meta's terms.

A. Data from Meta (Instagram/Facebook)

When you connect your Facebook/Instagram account, we receive the following "Platform Data" via the official Instagram Graph API:

  • •Identity DataYour Instagram Professional Account ID (IGSID), Page ID, Name, and Username
  • •Conversation DataIncoming messages, comments, story mentions, and story replies sent to your connected Professional Account
  • •Public Profile InfoBasic public information of users who interact with your Instagram bot (e.g., their Username and Name)

B. Data You Provide Directly

  • •Registration details (Name, Email, Password)
  • •Automation configurations (Keywords, Flows, and Reply logic)

3. How We Use Your Data

We strictly limit our data usage to the following purposes:

  • •Service Delivery: To function as a messaging agent that reads incoming webhooks and sends automated replies on your behalf
  • •AI Processing: To analyze the context of incoming messages and generate relevant responses using Artificial Intelligence
  • •Logs & History: We store chat logs to allow you (the account owner) to review automation performance and intervene manually if needed

Strict Usage Limitation: We do not sell, rent, or trade your "Platform Data" to data brokers or advertisers.

4. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure

We utilize OpenAI (ChatGPT API) to generate intelligent responses.

How it works:

When an automated response is required, the text of the incoming message is securely transmitted to OpenAI's API.

Privacy Guard:

We interact with OpenAI via their Enterprise/API standards, where your data is NOT used to train their public models.

Disclaimer:

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally be incorrect. You are responsible for monitoring your bot's activity.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • •Retention Period: We retain conversation logs for 90 days (or as long as your account is active) to provide history features
  • •Deletion: You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your data at any time (See Section 8)

We share data only with the infrastructure providers essential to our service:

7. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption (TLS 1.2+) for all data in transit and secure database access controls, to protect your personal information and Platform Data.

8. User Rights & Data Deletion

Under the DPDP Act (India) and GDPR, you have the right to:
